We understand that each person in our program has unique stressors, emotions, and physical struggles that interfere with maintaining a healthy weight. Currently we are conducting a group Behavioral series, discussing how to look inside of ourselves and encourage healing, awareness, self confidence, and a mindful approach to eating and weight loss. During individual weekly sessions, we also discuss strategies to tackle the very complex relationship with food and eating, coping skills, and how to navigate difficult situations such as holidays, socializing and general stress.
We may suggest individual visits with a provider who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT is a well established therapy for many eating disorders, and provides much needed support and mindfulness practice during a weight loss journey.
