About our Program
MenopauseRx is designed to address the unique metabolic, hormonal, and weight-related changes that occur during this time in your life. We take a personalized, data-driven approach to optimize your health through:
1. Comprehensive Metabolic & Hormonal Assessment
We begin with a detailed evaluation of your endocrine and metabolic health, including (as appropriate):
✔️ Hormone Testing
✔️ Metabolic Markers
✔️ Inflammation & Nutrient Status
✔️ Body Composition Analysis
✔️ Continuous Glucose Monitoring
2. Personalized Nutrition & Lifestyle Plan
Your individualized plan will focus on:
✔️ A hormone-friendly, anti-inflammatory diet to support metabolism and symptom relief
✔️ Strength training & cardiovascular exercise to preserve muscle and bone health
✔️ Sleep, stress management, and lifestyle strategies for better energy & mood
3. Targeted Medical Therapies
Depending on your health status, we may offer:
✔️ GLP-1 Therapy to support weight loss and metabolic health
✔️ Hormone Therapy (HT) or Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for symptom relief, long-term well-being and health benefits
✔️ Testosterone therapy (if indicated) for muscle strength, libido, and cognitive function
4. Ongoing Monitoring & Adjustments
We believe in a proactive, long-term approach to your care. We will closely track your progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatments as needed to ensure you feel your best. Keep in mind!! One of the biggest misconceptions is that “menopause has an ending”. Menopause marks the stage in a woman’s life that will last for the rest of her life.

Metabolic changes (e.g., insulin resistance, rising cholesterol and blood sugars)
-
We offer FDA- approved “bioidentical” hormone replacement therapy and conventional HRT tailored to individual needs. This may include:
Estrogen therapy (transdermal, oral, or vaginal)
Progesterone therapy
Testosterone supplementation (if indicated)
What is “bioidentical” HRT? This is actually just a non-scientific marketing term.
"Bioidentical hormone therapy" simply means hormones that are identical to the ones your body naturally produces. These hormones—like estradiol (estrogen) and progesterone—have the same molecular structure as what your ovaries made before menopause. There are synthetic versions of estrogen and progesterone (ie. Prempro and Premarin) which are made from horse urine.
-
No, we do not support the use of pellets for hormone therapy.
-
Yes! GLP-1 receptor agonists (such as semaglutide and tirzepatide) can be used alongside HRT, particularly for women struggling with weight gain and metabolic shifts during menopause. We carefully monitor your progress to ensure both treatments work synergistically.
-
No, we prescribe FDA-approved GLP-1 and hormone replacement therapy. There are no long term studies or data on compounded hormones.
-
Yes, lab testing is an important part of our initial assessment to look at hormone levels, metabolic function, and other factors influencing your symptoms.
-
Yes! We integrate a science-backed nutrition plan to support hormone balance, weight management, and metabolic health. This includes guidance on macronutrients, gut health, and specific foods that can alleviate menopause symptoms.
-
Coverage depends on your provider and plan. We currently accept five insurance plans, please visit the home page for more information. Most insurances will cover labwork and hormone therapy treatment. Insurance coverage of GLP-1 medications continues to be a tricky game and varies with each plan. We always do our best to get you covered or at least get the lowest cost possible.
